Charger NOT working

Postby lexxist on Mon Jan 26, 2009 7:53 pm

Recently my rng died towards the end of a day of shooting. When I arrived home I plugged it into the charger and left it alone. The next day I picked it back up getting ready to film some more and noticed that it was only staying on for a few seconds before dying. I checked to see if the charged was plugged in, it was. I used a different socket and noticed the charger would only stay on for about 2 seconds before turning off. This happened to all the sockets in my house.

Now I am not sure if it's the adapter or charger, but when the adapter is plugged in the red light on the charger does not come up. Maybe some wires came unsoderd inside or something. Either way, what can I do to fix it, because it's a pretty expensive object to have as a paper weight.

If Tracey Lee does not respond soon you should shoot him an email about this.

Yeah, I've been waiting for a response for a few days as well. This is very uncommon, I'm sure something unexpected has come up, Tracey is usually very good about answering emails. I'd send another and wait a few days.
