New RNG35 V3 & Nikon/Nikkor AF-D Lenses

Here's a couple of things I've noticed about the new RNG 35 V3.

For speedy lens changes, you will need to purchase a Nikon F mount adaptor for every lens you intend on using because the mount needs to be installed on the lens first and then the whole assy. onto the adaptor because of the way in which the locking pin works. You won't be able to leave the F-mount adaptor on the RNG and swap out lens as needed.

Secondly, you will find that if you are going to use any of the new Nikon/Nikkor AF-D lens (especially the faster lens whose iris ring has more travel than the slower F3.5 zoom lens) the locking pin on the RNG's F mount will interfere with the iris adjustment. On my 50mm F1.4 & 85mm F1.8 AF-D lens I can only turn the iris ring to about F2.2; if I want to open the iris a little more I need to pull back on the lens release pin which is somewhat annoying :? See pic below:

I would say the way to fix this annoyance would be to file down the little locking pin so that it does not interfere with the iris ring travel.
