What's the difference between the RNG35 and other adapters?

Postby leetraceyj on Wed Apr 02, 2008 6:24 pm

I have had a lot of people ask me to compare other adapters out there and tell them what the differences are between the RNG35 and the others.

Well, the reason why I developed the RNG35 was becasue I had owned an adapter from one of the other competitors and I was not happy with the lack of sharpness and too much vignetting. Also the bulk and weight was a big issue for me.

So I sat out to develop another adapter that had excellent image quality, less vignetting, lighter weight, and of course, a lower price tag that more indie film makers could afford.

I think I can honestly say that the RNG35 is very competitive in any of the important features that a 35mm has to offer. Some things that the RNG35 can definitely boast are the following:

Great picture quality
Very little vignetting
Lightweight run n gun
Professional and solid build
Low cost

If anyone out there would like to do a comparision with the RNG35 and other adapters, please feel free.
