update:
if anybody is reading this at all...
motor is not dead, but is somehow stucked and started again by the following procedure.
- open the RNG. disconnect (unsolder) the internal batteries and the + pole.
- connect a switchable external power supply at the charger input (+ is inner pin)
- switch from 0 volts slowly to higher voltage until motor starts rotating again appr. at 7 Volt, then immediately shut down the power...!
- solder the internal batteries again and close the unit
The problem seems to be the stopping position on the motor itself, from where it is not able to start itself.
I guess that the others competitors like Cinevate have some electronics inside (from version MP2) to start the motor by a higher voltage impuls, to insure to get it running...?!?
sometimes the vibration motor is able to run when the RNG35 is not lined up horizontal (like you normally using it during filming) but instead vertical... (as i you were filming the sky)... then however is is starting most of the times.
anybody having thoughts about that?
